Jill Slyte

My name is Jill  Slyte and I'm a ceramic artist. I work out of my pottery studio in the county of Dalsland, Sweden.

I make hand-built and wheel-thrown pots out of earhtenware clay. After the bisque firing my pots are, mainly, fired either black through raku firing or smoke decorated in a pitfire.

I first laid my hands on clay in 2011, while living in Scotland, and there was no turning back. I love how versatile clay is as a medium an the endless possibilities for form, texture and decoration.
